"I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
(Mt 16:18-19)
At Mission Anabaino, we believe that during His ascension ministry today, Christ has an address at every place where there is an apostolic, Christ-centered church. Mission Anabaino consist of a growing number of affiliate churches and partners wherein MA is gathering, energizing, deploying, and focusing our resources into a collaborative effort to plant churches where Christ’s saving presence is not readily accessible especially targeting post-christendom places.
For a summary of the practical and biblical justification for this, you may read Preston Graham's short paper, Why Plant Churches as a Missionary Strategy?
In short:
- Christ tells us that the Church is the epicenter of the Kingdom of God!
- By its very nature -- as the mediatorial presence of Christ -- the Church IS mission!
- The Church is an essential element of the gospel -- outside of which there is no ordinary possibility of salvation.
Our Task Involves
- The De-construction of the Modernist/Christendom bound church assumptions, the Re-construction of the apostolic church first principles and the Re-Formation of Total Christ churches deployed into missionary encounters within post-Christendom contexts
